My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Theodore was relinquished to DDWTN by his owner because she could not afford the necessary eye surgery that would restore some or all his vision in his right eye. He was born with a birth defect and after the surgery he still has a cloudy eye but has sight . No additional maintenance is required per our rescue vet.

Theodore is an adorable purebred shih-tzu and was born 7/11/11. He weighs aprx. 12 pounds and loves to cuddle and really enjoys sleeping with his human! He is fine with other dogs and enjoys wrestling and playing with dogs of similar size. We prefer to put him in a home WITHOUT CATS due to his eye. He is fine with older children. His personality gives you a laugh a minute!

Theo is neutered, UTD on shots, HW negative and on flea/HW preventative. He loves attention and whines when you leave so a home where his human works from home or one where he is left little or no time at all would be perfect! He would enjoy doggie day care as an option. He walks well on a leash.

Theodore is in foster care in E. TN and will be transported to his forever home via Alpha Dog Transport. They charge $125.00 for their services and is paid when you claim your dog. They also hand off all the dog's shot /vet records.
