Finley's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Finley's Story...
One look at Finley and of course you already know he is very handsome! He is also as his foster mom says "a little soft, furry lump of love!" But don't let that "lump" fool you! He LOVES to play with other dogs and go for jogs - yes jogs! Those short little legs can move and he can go over for over a mile non-stop!

However, inside the house, Finley is much more of a "shadow." He will follow you anywhere. His a curious boy and always eager to be in the middle of things - just in case a lap or some petting should be available! He plays very well with other dogs and is even good with the resident kitty.

Finley is looking for an active home with daily walks or jogs. Another canine friend would be ideal, espeically if you work full-time outside of the home. Hanging out at the local cafe is also a fun activity that our little social butterfly enjoys.

Of course, plenty of love and snuggle time are mandatory for our adorable little man! So if you have what Finley's looking for, please complete an application for him today -

Finley weighed 10.1 pounds when we saved him from the kill list.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finley, a Phoenix Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
