My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joel is sweet, albeit a little shy but very loving boy! He is just a teeny little guy so most of the world is quite a bit bigger then him so we're not surprised that he's a bit scared of things. What he is not afraid of his love, laps and petting! These things he can't get enough of. We haven't tested it yet but we are pretty sure that Joel could actually sit in your lap for the entire day!

Joel is working through his shyness with the help of our loving volunteers. We're not sure many of them let his cute little paws actually touch the ground though! He gets carried around a lot and of course he is thrilled with that arrangement.


Joel is looking for a permanent lap or laps to call his own! While he appreciates all the love and cuddle time with the volunteers, it's just not the same as a home of his own. Leisurely walks around the neighborhood are good for him. Another small canine friend would be fine too. His biggest request is a life of love! He promises to give it back tenfold.
