Boo Boo's Story...
Boo Boo is beautiful 6 yr old shy girl. She came to us from the best friend of a woman who just recently passed away from breast cancer. She still is a bit scared of the unknown, she was very close to her person. She just needs some time to adjust to her new surroundings as well as her new family. If you have the time and the patience to bring this shy girl into your home, you will not regret it. She will reward you for all that patience with love. She is a bonded pair with Callie, so they must go together.

About Our Rescue Group...
Furever Friends Rescue is a 501(c)(3) corporation that has been designed to help reduce the number of intakes and euthanasia in Maricopa and Pinal Counties by helping people with life changing circumstances find new homes for their beloved pets. Individuals facing assisted living, nursing homes, hospice or those dealing with the death of a loved one now have an option: to relinquish their pets to us directly where they will be put up for adoption, thereby bypassing public intake.

Our Adoption Process...
We have a consultation form that is filled out for each animal that an individual is thinking about adopting. We then interview based upon that feedback. Once an animal is decided on, an adoption contract is signed, and the adoption fee is paid. If a person is adopting a dog, we do a home check prior to the adoption contract. Fees vary.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boo Boo, a Gilbert Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
