Trixie's Story...
Got Graham Crackers? They're Trixie's favorite snack :). Trixie is currently fostered in the country where she can enjoy chasing squirrels and bird watching. She's 100% house trained crate trained. She sleeps in her crate at night and when she's ready for a nap, she goes to her crate by choice. She loves other dogs and needs a home where she'll have a dog companion. She's great in the car, riding beside her foster mom in the front seat. She's loving, friendly, greets visitors to her home warmly. She'll bark at first but settles down quickly. Trixie has been estimated to be 8 months old and weighs 35 pounds. Trixie is fostered in the Guntersville, AL area. About Our Rescue Group...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.

Our adoption fee covers their complete age-appropriate vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention, and full medical records.
