My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Why hello! Thanks for visiting my page - it's so nice to meet you! Please let me tell you a little bit about myself so that we can get to know each other better!

My name is Edwin and I am a 2 year old neutered male Brussels Griffon/Schnauzer mix who came to NBS Animal Rescue when they saved me from Macomb Animal Shelter where I was taken when some kind people found me wandering around in the cold on the streets of Sterling Heights. I had lots of help trying to locate my owners - after all - a handsome fella like myself MUST have a family out there looking for me...right? Sadly my family never showed up but LUCKILY for me the awesome folks at NBS took me in their arms and into a great foster home. I'm now living with foster fur-brothers and sisters, and even a cat!

My foster mom tells everyone she see's what a good boy I am - I know how to sit and come. I am still working on potty training so my forever family will need to be prepared to work with me on this. Also, I am able to climb a chain-link fence, so I need a privacy fenced yard, leash walked or a tie out. I am good with other dogs and cats, I love to snuggle, and most of all - I am super adorable! My foster dad thinks I'm handsome when I smile and you can see my goofy teeth - I can't help but smile and wag my tail - my foster parents are so kind to me and they are doing everything they can to help me find a fur-ever family of my own. Could it be with you?

My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food. If you think that I might be the perfect addition to your family, please contact the awesome volunteers at N.B.S. Animal Rescue at nbsanimalrescue@gmail.com for any additional information or answers to any questions you might have. You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today! Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application. While I hope that you have fallen in love with me and will fill out an adoption application right away, I understand if I might not be the perfect pup for your family. Would you please help me by sharing my picture and information on your Facebook page, or e-mail to your friends and family members? I'm a great pup and I really deserve a loving family to give all of my love and puppy kisses to! Thank-you for your help!
