Tinkerbell's Story...
My name is Tinkerbell, and everyone says what a cutie I am ... but I've been here for three long weeks and I'm still homeless. So maybe I'd better tell you some other things about myself, in addition to being cute.

I'm medium-sized, young and playful, VERY friendly ... and the volunteers here at SCAC have been teaching me the polite way to walk on my leash. Sometimes I'll even sit on command ('cause I know I'll get a treat). I catch on quickly, and I think I would fit right in at your home. Let's meet and see what YOU think. (Ask for # A027316.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tinkerbell, a Springfield Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
