My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kiko! He is a very friendly boy. He is around 8 months old, pitbull mix, saved from a high kill pound and has been in a foster home for 2 months, with a little dog and a bigger one. He also lived with teenagers and was great with them, and got to play with a 9 year old under surveillance and did good. The only thing is that Kiko, of course, is still a puppy and unaware of his size therefore can play rough but listens when you say no and correct him. He is very smart and understands a lot but he still needs to be disciplined due to his young age. Kiko has no toy or food aggression but doesn't give up a toy easily, unless you give him a treat then he drops the toy instantly! He is very treat motivated and using treats is a great learning tool for him. He has already learned commands such as sit, down, paw , play dead, stay. He walks well on leash in general and sometimes thinks he's a lap dog. Kiko loves to give kisses and will give them on demand!

He needs a foster home asap however due to no fault of his own but a personal situation with his foster home. If you can foster him please email us at ISaveThem@bellanima.org
