Mia Marie's Story...
Mia Marie is a very curious 1 yr old Maltipoo. She was brought in as a stray. The couple that found her tried to locate her family for a few days, but couldn't keep her because they were moving. When on walks, Mia Marie loves to sniff around the bushes and listen to all the birds chirping. Mia Marie will love a good home with a yard where she can sniff everything. She likes to be held and is very sweet and friendly. She loves attention! Come visit this wonderful girl here at Shelter Hope Pet Shop!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia Marie, a Thousand Oaks Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Thousand Oaks, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Thousand Oaks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Thousand Oaks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Thousand Oaks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Thousand Oaks paves the way for another one to be saved.
