Bently's Story...
My name is Bently. I was living a comfortable life until my owner died this past summer and I was put out onto the street. I hung around the neighborhood and some nice people gave me food once in a while. Then winter came and when it was freezing cold I found a window open to a basement where some other cats lived. The owner found me, but couldn't keep me so she called BCCC. They came to get me and I have been in a foster home for a few weeks. I am a big boy and I just got neutered. I am friendly and like to be petted and give head butts. I get along with the other foster cats who live with me. I am looking for a home of my own. Do you have room in your home and heart for me?

Bently gets along with the other cats and is a catnip addict – he loves his catnip mice. His foster mom was told that some neighborhood kids would torment him so she doesn’t know how he would be with kids. Bently is a big, long-haired orange kitty. He is an adult, but we don't know how old he is. He also tested negative for FIV/Felv.

Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at www.billericacatcarecoalition.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bently, a N. Billerica Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in N. Billerica, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in N. Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
