Banjo's Story...
Banjo is a 9 month old Australian Shepherd mix. He looks possibly purebred, but has a beautiful swag tail, which is not common to the breed. He weighs about 25 to 30 pounds, so is fairly small. He is a liver color with tan accents. He is super sweet and easy going. To be so young, he is very calm and quiet. He is playful, and gets along with dogs and cats. He is a great dog. (TIA)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Banjo, a Spring Valley Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
