Lynda's Story...
PLEASE ENJOY THE VIDEO OF THIS SPECIAL PUP!

Lynda is a 1-year female mix. She's playful, friendly, and gets along wonderfully with the other 11 dogs and cat in her Weeki Wachee foster home. She's calm, gentle, and friendly with all people. She is a border collie mix and as such, is highly intelligent. She can easily scale a 4-foot chain link fence, so supervision is a must. She learns quickly and is eager to please. Lynda is on the submissive side, but is totally attached to her foster mom. She'd be a fine agility dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lynda, a Weeki Wachee Border Collie/American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/American Eskimo Dog for sale in Weeki Wachee, or seeking a Border Collie/American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Weeki Wachee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weeki Wachee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weeki Wachee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weeki Wachee paves the way for another one to be saved.
