Hercules's Story...
This is Hercules! His skin may appear bad in his photos, but this is NOTHING compared to when we first picked this boy up from the shelter! He was dripping blood, skin hanging off his body - suffering from one of the wort cases of non-contagious demodex mange and skin infection that we had ever seen. Now, Hercules is on his way to a full recovery! His skin is healing, his hair is growing, and he is ready for a home to call his own! He loves all people he meets, but would do well as an only pet or with another larger submissive dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hercules, a bridgeport German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in bridgeport, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in bridgeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in bridgeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a bridgeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in bridgeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
