Olivia's Story...
Olivia is less than ten pounds and absolutely adorable. She's sharing her her foster home with two other small dogs and she enjoys the fun! She's won our hearts when she left the shelter. She adopted a stuff toy as a baby and carried him around for weeks. If you became her friend, she shared her baby with you :). As she became more comfortable in her foster home, she made friends with new dog friends and humans and the baby became less important. She's a loving little dog who bonds like glue to her chosen person. We'd love to see her in a home of her own very soon. Olivia is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and has been examined by a licensed vet. If you can offer Olivia a forever home, please email INFO@FORrescue.net. About Our Rescue Group...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.

Our adoption fee covers their complete age-appropriate vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention, and full medical records.
