My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SANDY HAS BEEN SELECTED TO BE ONE OF OUR PRISON DOGS. SHE WILL SPEND 8-12 WEEKS TRAINING IN OBEDIENCE AND MANNERS AT THE GRAFTON CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION. SHE STARTED HER TRAINING AT THE PRISON ON JANUARY 24, 2013.. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING SANDY, ADOPTION APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED. THEY CAN BE DOWNLOADED AT www.friendshipapl.org, BUT MUST BE HAND DELIVERED TO THE SHELTER. ANY QUESTIONS CALL 440-322-4321.
Take a look at sweet Sandy. She's a 6 month old Shepherd mix that was surrendered to the shelter due to her owner being ill. Sandy is young and will need training, which she is receiving right now. Sandy is not fond of cats. She lived with kids 5-12 years old but she played a little rough with the younger ones. Sandy is fine with older kids and is very active and loves to play. With the guidance she's receiving, she'll come back a great canine pal.

If you have older kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Sandy, please bring them with you for a meet and greet when she returns from her training.
