Trudy's Story...
Meet Trudy the wonderful senior purebred Persian kitty! She was found wandering around outside a deli. She's got very few teeth left and is in her golden years, but this girl still has a ton of spunk and plenty of love to give! Our vet says her heart/lungs sound great for her age! If you have a place in your heart and home for this lovely lady, please contact us!

About Our Rescue Group...
Project Precious Rescue, Inc. is the love child of two animal rescuers who were unsatisfied with working for others. We rescue on our terms, dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, we do not discriminate against breeds, and we answer to no one but ourselves. If there is an animal in need, and we can help it, we do. We are a small scale rescue with ever changing adoptables, so please check in frequently to find your new best friend!

The mission of Project Precious Rescue is to rescue adoptable animals who may otherwise face homelessness or death, and find them carefully screened, loving forever homes. We will rely solely on our own funds and donations, and will not profit from our work. We believe every animal deserves a chance, and we do our best to help in any way we can.

Our Adoption Process...
Project Precious has an ever changing group of adoptable dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, please check in frequently to see if your forever friend is waiting for you!

If you are interested in adopting a Project Precious pet, please email ProjectPreciousRescue@gmail.com OR ProjectPreciousRescue2@gmail.com for an adoption application. After receiving your filled out application, we will screen your information and determine if we have a pet that is a good fit for you. There will then be a introduction and home visit, and if all goes well, an adoption contract and fee. When submitting an application, please bear in mind that we do this on our own time in addition to working paying jobs, so it may take a couple of days to get a response. Our adoption fees vary depending on age and type of animal (dog or cat).

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We are currently serving all of CT - we may consider out of state adoptions in some parts of NY, MA, NJ.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trudy, a bridgeport Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in bridgeport, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in bridgeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in bridgeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a bridgeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in bridgeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
