Nala's Story...
Nala was found stray and half starved. Her foster mom has fattened her up a bit but she still needs a pounds to be a nice healthy weight. She currently weighs 50 lbs.She is about a year and a half old, housebroken (with supervision) and crate trained. She has learned how to play with other dogs and is good with kids and cats. We believe that she is a shepherd mix and she has a bobbed tail, but she also looks like she may have some collie or golden retriever in her. Her foster mom says that she is a very sweet girl...enjoys playing with other dogs and loves to get affection from humans. She is being fostered in Kentucky.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small, non profit, all volunteer organization that has been dedicating our spare time to save Southern dogs in need for over 7 years. We are located in Knoxville TN. Our goal is to reduce the number of dogs in the "high kill" overpopulated shelters in our region and find them permanent loving homes. We are not breed specific, but are committed to the breeds and mixes that tend to be overly abundant in the southern states. We adopt to both local families and families in the Northeast. We place most of our orphans in homes in the northeast by offering USDA certified transport services.
