Mikey's Story...
Meet sweet Mikey! He is just PRECIOUS and is the star of the show everywhere he goes. He is a dachshund mix and will brobably grow to be the size of a beagle. He weighs 9 pounds and is 10 weeks old. He is such a fun little puppy and he gets along with all dogs big and small. He loves to chew on his toys and is a very happy fella! He is great in the bath and is doing very well with potty training. Mikey is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and is microchipped. About Our Rescue Group...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.

Our adoption fee covers their complete age-appropriate vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention, and full medical records.
