Sydney's Story...
Hi, I'm Sydney, Syd for short. I am about 5 months old little lady and they think I am long haired Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. And let me tell you, I am a MESS! I LOOOOOOOOVEE to play - with dogs, kids, cats, you name it! My favorite wrestling partner is a cat at the shop I stay at. I have so much spirit and I just want a family to share that with. I am well-behaved, but I am a puppy - so I am still working on housebreaking. I rarely have accidents, but I'm not perfect... hey, who is?

If you're interested in adopting me - please email the nice people at FOR who are helping me find my FORever home. Their email is

My adoption fee is $200. I will be spayed prior to adoption, current on all my shots, microchipped and current on heartworm and flea prevention. I am being fostered near Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sydney, a Marietta Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
