Lady's Story...
Lady is a shepherd mix who is about two years old. Her name suits her! She is very friendly and likes everyone. She is not at all aggressive toward other dogs. In fact, she seems to be able to play with any of them. She walks well on a leash, too. Lady would make a great family pet. She is medium size and won't get any bigger. We don't know whether Lady likes cats since she is not near them in the shelter. Lady lives in Madison, Mississippi but transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front. If you are interested in taking Lady into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Groton German Shepherd Dog/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Groton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
