Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mercy showed up as a stray at a high kill shelter. She looked pretty bad and had clearly been neglected. No one seemed interested in saving this little girl, so St. Martin's stepped in. Mercy is about 11 to 13 years old. She has a condition called KCS "dry eye," which requires daily medication. She also has some spinal damage which causes her to walk like Charlie Chaplin. When she came to us she had mammory tumors and a very neglected mouth. She has had nine bad teeth extracted, her teeth cleaned and two mammory tumors removed as well as being spayed. She really got a doggie overhaul! Mercy definitely feels better and she shows this by being able to sleep contently and loving to be held and rocked in the rocking chair. Mercy would enjoy a quiet home and her own human lap to lay upon in her golden years. Mercy is spayed, up to date on all vaccines including rabies, and is microchipped. Please email stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com or call 503-857-5047 if you would like to have sweet Mercy be your lap baby.
