Hailey's Story...
Hailey is a beautiful medium to long haired gray kitten, approx. 5 months old, who was dumped at the landfill in Wingate. She is grateful to have been rescued and loves to be held and cuddled and to sleep in the bed at night. She likes to have her belly rubbed and will just purr and purr.

Hailey is apprehensive of other cats until she realizes they aren't going to beat her up. She is up to date on shots, has been dewormed and treated for fleas, and is scheduled to be spayed on January 29th.

Adopting to South Charlotte and surrounding area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hailey, a Waxhaw Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Waxhaw, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Waxhaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waxhaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waxhaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waxhaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
