My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Candace is as sweet as candy, but she's not full of herself. By her look and size (about 12 pounds) she is a Puggle (Beagle/Pug mix), and only about one year old. Whatever her mix, she is quiet and truly sweet.

Candace was in a shelter for a very long period of time and is not quite sure about being picked up. However, if you sit and allow her to come to you she LOVES to be held in your lap and simply soaks up your love and attention.

Candace is spunky and smart as all get out, but oh so quiet. The only time you may hear her is when she needs out. She would make a great dog for an apartment where she simply gets a walk a day. She gets along great with other dogs and even did well with our cat. She is ok on leash but could use a little work to be perfect on it. She does love a crate with lots of warm and fuzzy blankets inside it and doesn't make a peep while she's in it.
