Sir Humphrey Speedington's Story...
Meet one of the cutest senior bunnies on the planet, Sir Humphrey Speedington! He came in with the name Speedy, but we decided at his ripe age of 8 years old that "Speedy" no longer fit him...so we gave him a new name. Humphrey is so incredibly adorable! He lives with a foster mom and her 5 cats, where he gets lots of free roaming time and gets along great with his feline friends. He loves to jump up on the couch and join the family for tv time!

Humphrey was taken in for a neuter at one of our trusted vets, but after examination Dr. Champagne said that his teeth were in horrible condition and a much higher priority than a neuter. The poor guy was never fed hay in his previous life, and his teeth were just a mess. Dr. C got his teeth all fixed up, and he is due for a neuter in December. **Update: his neuter was successful and he's recovered nicely!

Humphrey is an older bun, but he has lots of life and tons of love to give. Please let us know if you'd like to arrange to meet Sir Humphrey Speedington and we'll be happy to have his foster mom bring him up to Texas Rustlers for a date! Humphrey is available for an adoption fee of $80.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sir Humphrey Speedington, a Lewisville Dwarf was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dwarf for sale in Lewisville, or seeking a Dwarf from a breeder in Lewisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dwarf breeders who help with Dwarf rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
