Velma's Story...
You know we got a mystery to solve but Scooby Doo is nowhere to be found. So we put the girls from the Scooby gang on the case!!! The mystery that has these sister sleuths burning the midnight Meow Mix is who will provide them with a new forever home... Daphne is very outgoing and Velma is a little on the shy side which makes these sweet siblings the perfect case cracking combo. Daphne has found her forever home already so if you have any leads for Velma then please call us, or crack the case yourself and adopt this Scooby girl yourself!!! If you are interested in meeting Velma or other cats/kittens in our care waiting for a home, please call 508-695-4707. Paws of Plainville, Inc. is dedicated to helping the homeless cats in the local area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Velma, a Plainville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plainville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Plainville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainville paves the way for another one to be saved.
