My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Katy Perry and Virgil, our super senior bonded pair.
These two dogs are very sweet and loving, and they love to give gentle kisses. They both follow voice commands well, have great house manners and refrain from jumping up on furniture, including comfy people beds.
They both enjoy people, big or small, and always have a friendly wag for a new visitor. They love to follow you around the house and are content to wait just outside a cracked-open door (but they might peek their heads in to make sure you are doing OK). They crate up very well and are great car-traveling buddies, laying right down for a snooze until you arrive at your destination. Both are good eaters, not food aggressive at all, and are very patient for their meals.
Their foster mom reports that they do not bark when someone knocks on the door and have not chewed on or destroyed one thing in the house.
When they arrived in our rescue, they both had flea dermatidis, including missing all of the fur on their rear ends. But now they are flea free and the hair has grown back. All of their blood work has come back showing a clean health report.
They both are on doggie supplements, joint supplements and Advantix to keep those fleas away.
Individually, Katy is perfect on a leash and would make someone a fine jogging partner. She just got spayed, so she is ready to hit the dating circuit. Katy seems to have had her tail broken at some point in her life, so now she sports a slight bend in her wagger and the tails now looks kind of like a Dr. Seuss character's.
As for Virgil, he is very good on a leash, but he does need some guidance as to which side to walk on. He greets each morning with a ceremonial bark at the universe, and he loves to play with his foster mates. He can be a bit dominant, but he is probably just keeping the younger whippersnappers in line.
Please consider adding these two wonderful seniors to your pack. They would love to shower you with love during their golden years.
