Muffin's Story...
Muffin (2.36kg) came into New Moon Rabbit Rescue’s care on 23 January 2013 after being transferred from a local SPCA. She was a little shy when we first met her at the shelter but this start to ease almost immediately upon entering a home environment.

We do not know much about Muffin yet as she has only just come into our care. She was spayed on 25 January 2013 and will be available for adoption after she has had time to recover.

We make efforts to keep all our rabbits profiles up-to-date but this is not always possible. If you are interested in adopting Muffin or have any questions, please email info@newmoonrabbitrescue.ca

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Muffin, a North Gower Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in North Gower, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in North Gower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Gower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Gower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Gower paves the way for another one to be saved.
