Pinky's Story...
My name is Pinky. I'm a female black and white cat, also called a "tuxedo," and I'm not declawed. I was born around April, 2011, and came to ADOPT through an organization that traps feral cats to spay and return to the wild. Good thing they realized how sweet I am and brought me to ADOPT instead of letting me go. I'd really love to find my forever home. I don't like being alone outside. I love people, and also get along with other cats as long as they are quiet. I like to play and have a really good time running around chasing things. I love to be petted, and will curl up next to you to snuggle. If you have love to give, I'll take it! I know I've got a lot of love to give to you...come meet me and you'll see just how much!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pinky, a Naperville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
