Louie's Story...
Louie-Long Haired Chihuahua male 4 yr.

Louie is about as cute as they come....abandoned in a rural high kill rural Shelter recently, we are happy to take him into the Rescue. We heard that Louie was not kindly cared for by his previous owner and we are SO happy to tell him that life will now be better and better. Never will he be in a
situation where he's not loved and cherished! We think he's about 4 years old and is in good health. He gets along great with other dogs. He likes all the new people he's met and has a sunny personality. About 8# of love! His adoption fee is $250 to help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Germantown Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
