Patty's Story...
Patty-Boxer/Lab female puppy-8 weeks 1-20-13

Patty is a gently, sweet little girl who is looking for a new family to live her life with. She was left at a high kill rural shelter and didn't know what was happening. All alone, she jumped into the arms of a voluteer from Rescue, ready to get out and on with her life. She's in a foster home,
getting ready for adoption. She will be a medium to large sized adult someday, wanting an active lifestyle. Her adoption fee is $275 to help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patty, a Germantown Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
