Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jax is one sweet young boy. Only about six months old and around 35 pounds, Jax is fun and puppy-ish, but surprisingly calm and gentle.
We are fairly certain he is a Yellow Lab, McNab and Boxer mix. His coloring is all Lab; his voice, markings and ability to herd the large dogs here is all McNab, and the way he plays is all Boxer. In other words, this is a great, smart, playful all-around mutt who wants to please and be with his people. Jax is awesome with young kids. He loves playing with dogs of all sizes, and is even good with our cat. Who could ask for more?
Jax is very good on lead and great in a crate for the night. He enjoyed the car ride from the shelter to his new home so much that he literally passed out on the back seat, all stretched out. In fact, we had thought of naming him Stretch, but Jax won out.
Please email tmabrescue@gmail.com for an application and to find out where and when you can meet this young boy.
