Sunni's Story...
Hi, there! I am called Sunni because I have such a sunny disposition! I am a 9 1/2 year old (I was born May 31, 2003) golden retriever. I was professionally trained as a pup and have never had any accidents in the house! I enjoy people, both young and old and am playful with all types of dogs. I have never shown any agression at all towards people or dogs. I have never been around cats. I love chasing ball at the park as well as going on long walks. On warm summer days, I enjoy chewing ice cubes! I am neutered, current on shots and have always had very good health with the exception of a few minor ear infections. I will, also, be micro chipped before going home with you. I am just a really great dog looking for a really great new person or family through no fault of my own. For more information and/or to meet me in person, please call or text (925) 209-6480 or email Diane@TARescue.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunni, a Phoenix Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
