DoubleDare's Story...
Back in June DoubleDare, his sisters Rumor, Shelby and Milkshake, were abandoned by their mother near the Village Florist in Geneseo and a kind employee brought them to us. They were about 4 weeks old at the time. Shelby and Milkshake have since been adopted. DoubleDare has grown into a beautiful and sweet catkin. DOB 5-12-12. POSTED JANUARY 26, 2013.

The Henry County Humane Society - Geneseo, IL is a small, NO-Kill Animal Shelter. Our Humane Society is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit agency located at 14606 Roos Hill Road in Geneseo, Illinois, and is operated on donations from the public. Come Meet Our Pets...
We are open every day (365 days a year) from 4pm to 6pm for you to meet and interact with our shelter animals. If that time does not work for you give us a call and we can arrange something. Finding that perfect furever home for our shelter animals is our number one priority. We will always go above and beyond for them.

Our Adoption Process...
Adoption fees are cats $50, unaltered kittens $60, dogs $100, puppies $125.
An adoption application (either on-line at our website or at the shelter) must be filled out and approved to start the adoption process. ALL references (vet and personal) will be checked. ALL pets in your home must be current with all vaccinations and be spay/neutered. If you are approved you will be contacted by phone or email.
