Attie's Story...
Meet Attie – This little girl was called AT&T when she was brought into AC Boarding. She was a tiny kitten that was found near a dumpster at an AT&T store.

The person that brought her in couldn’t keep her, but said she needed to board for a few days until she could find her a home. This person never returned.

We named her Attie after the AT&T store to represent her past.

She is only 3 months old. She has received all of her necessary vaccinations and is scheduled to be spayed.

She is a little pistol and has a super personality. The boarding facility has no one to take her. We are trying to help find her a home.

We appreciate any help with these feline friends in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Attie, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
