Buttercup's Story...
My name is Buttercup, and I am looking for my forever home. I am very pretty, about 4 to 5 months old (01/2013), GS/Catahoula mix. I am 100% puppy, so need a new family that will be patient with me and teach me the ropes on how I'm supposed to act. I already know lots of tricks, I can chew, pee and bark on command. I am super smart, and will keep you entertain for hours. Are you lonely and depressed then you need me to keep you company. Call my foster mom, Lyda Vallee, at 713-416-2118 so we can meet and then you will fall in love with me, I am just that irresistible.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttercup, a Houston Catahoula Leopard Dog/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
