Daphne is a 14 week old Jack Russell Terrier girl weighing about 6lbs. She is a playful girl but when she's done playing she loves to cuddle on your lap. She does well with dogs and children of any size. Was tested with a cat and didn't seem phased . She loves toys as well!
Puppies take a few months to be fully potty trained. Please do not expect a puppy to be fully potty trained until about 4 months of age. Remember....Puppies chew EVERYTHING! Puppies can cry at night. Puppies need a lot of attention and training!
We discourage puppies going into homes that would be left for 8 hours a day while you are at work as it is detrimental to their socialization needs and potty training. These puppies will need discipline and training for the next year of their life. We are hoping we can find a home that is wiling to make this commitment for the duration of the pup's life!
Daphnehas been examined by a vet and received her first puppy shots/deworming. She will get the rest of her puppy shots, big girl shots, and will be spayed and microchipped once old enough by Hope 4 Paws. An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.
The adoption application is available at www.hope4paws.com.
The application can be emailed to Molly at hallamart@sbcglobal.net
The adoption fee of $275 covers all vetting expenses.

All of our dogs are in loving foster homes throughout Chicagoland. We socialize each dog with other dogs and sometimes children and cats prior to adopting them out. See all of our adoptable dogs at www.hope4paws.com.
An adoption application and a home visit is required prior to adoption. Our adoption fee is $275 which covers veterinary exam, spay/neuter, vaccines, deworming/fecal check, microchip, and heartworm test (if old enough). Hope 4 Paws Rescue holds the right to refuse any application if not found suitable to adopt. Upon being approved, if we do not feel that the dog you are interested in is compatible with your lifestyle, we will try to find you another dog that fits your family!
We adopt to all of Chicagoland and parts of Indiana and Wisconsin.
