Hi! My name is Joe. I was abandoned at a park in Kentucky with no one to love me. I was so lucky that a kind person picked me up and found Friends of Retrievers to help me! Let me tell you a little about me in case you might want to provide me my forever home. I'm silly. I think that every moment of everyday is play time. Unless it's time to eat or sleep, of course. Because of this, my foster mommy thinks that I have a lot of puppy left in me. I love to run outside and fetch the ball. My foster sister is my new best friend... I try to get her to play all of the time! When it's time to sleep, I'd love to be cuddled next to you. However, I am content to lay on the floor by your feet. I am crate trained, house trained, and love people/other dogs/kitties. Won't you please give me a second chance at life and provide me with my FORever home? Please email email@example.com if you are interested in learning more about me!
Rescue Group Info...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.
We have many wonderful dogs looking for FORever Homes!
Our adoption fee covers their complete age-appropriate vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention, and full medical records.
Please email us at info@FORrescue.net for an application to begin the adoption process.
