Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roxy is the most adorable little beagle girl! She is tiny at only 18 lbs. and is full grown so will not get any larger. Our vet aged her as "juvenile, under 3 yrs." You can tell that Roxy still has a lot of puppy energy in her. She is a whirlwind of motion and loves to zoom through the house, teasing the older beagles and chasing a tennis ball (which she may or may not retrieve, depending on her mood!). She does have her cuddly side too, though, and loves to snuggle up with the humans. Her favorite dog bed is the one next to the desk where the humans work on the computer - if that spot is already occupied by another beagle, no problem, Roxy will just sprawl out on top of the other dog!
Because she is so tiny, Roxy has already been moved to a different foster home because she could get through the wrought iron bars of the fence at the previous home where she had been taken after being rescued from the shelter. Therefore, whoever adopts her will need to have a secure fence with no spaces where she could squeeze through. She knows how to use the doggie door at her foster home, and she is crate trained so she stays there when the humans are away because of her inclination to escape. Roxy absolutely loves to go on leash walks and on rides in the car. For Roxy, a busy life is a happy life!
"Foxy Roxy" is fostered in The Woodlands, in a townhome with 2 other beagles.
