| Size: | Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) | Sex: | Male |
Meet Pierce a great dog that is fun, full of energy and loving. He walks great on a leash and loves to go for long walks. He loves to play, great with children and plays well with a snoodle who is a real hyper boy. He loves attention and will throw up his paw at you just so you will pet him. He loves human interaction and is very submissive. He especially enjoys paling around with a nineteen month old who loves to play and pet him and they interact wonderfully together.
He is so sweet and knows how to sit, shake and fetch a stick and sometimes he will bring it back to you. LOL He loves to give hugs by wrapping his paws around his foster mom's waste and then laying his head on her chest. Pierce would do great with a family that will spent time with him and has kids that will love and play with him. He is slightly over a year old and completely vetted. Please consider Pierce. Pierce is a courtesy posting for a fellow rescuer and is not in the FOR program. He's fostered in North Alabama. To learn more about him and apply, please email INFO@FORrescue.net
Rescue Group Info...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.
We have many wonderful dogs and cats looking for FORever Homes!
Our adoption fee covers their complete age-appropriate vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention, and full medical records.
Please email us at info@FORrescue.net for an application to begin the adoption process.
