Daisy's Story...
Daisy may be considered a senior dog, but she is one little dog in top shape! You would never think she is about 11-12 yrs old, and the vet was quite impressed by all her little muscles! Daisy is an overall wonderful girl, sweet, friendly, aims to please and although she has quite a strong and confident little mind, she listens to you and has not a mean bone in her. Daisy gets along with everyone, is absolutely great with children (and has been around tiny babies too!) as well as other dogs. She has never been in the company of cats, but according to her character, she should be just fine with them.

Daisy just loves to go for walks, she can walk on forever and can also be calm in the house, but in general, she is a dog who needs her daily walks, as she just enjoys them too much - although she is not too crazy about those very cold days! She will bark when other dogs bark and when she is so excited to go outside. Daisy loves to snuggle, sleeps on her dog bed at night, and except for the occasional accident, is potty trained. She has been fully vetted through our rescue and has even got a full teeth cleaning.

About Our Rescue Group...
Bell’Anima (Italian for “Beautiful Soul”) is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and placing abandoned dogs and cats.

We are a foster based rescue with very big ideas. Our dream is to one day build a shelter for all of the abandoned animals that find their way to our rescue. In the meantime, we work with committed foster homes for an indefinite amount of time. These fosters work tirelessly in giving the Bell’Anima exercise, discipline, affection and socialization skills required to create a well balanced companion. This allows the animal to have their true character shine through rehabilitation, patience and love.

We also work closely with our veterinarians in order to provide all of our Bell’Animas a healthy future. We provide them with a full veterinary check, protect them from illness with basic vaccines, and most importantly all of our animals are spayed or neutered or will be if not yet of age.
Our team consists of 5 dedicated directors, our wonderful volunteers and our foster families. All of whom are an important, crucial part of making Bell’Anima a working and worth while rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Laval Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Laval, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Laval.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Laval already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Laval breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Laval paves the way for another one to be saved.
