This tiny little girl and her “sister” are retired breeder’s girls. Very little, they are shy but learning to feel at home with people. A home will be a new and wonderful experience for them. Very small, they are tea cup girls – timid but very happy when in a lap. Although the girls enjoy being together, they will do just fine in separate homes. They have both just had a dental.
Marsha- mellow and Coconut are very easy to care for. They are content in their crate when they aren’t with their person. These little dogs have so much to learn about the pleasures common to many dogs – being held, being talked to, treats and toys will all be new to them.
They will need a fenced yard as they do not know how to walk on a leash, with a safe yard and loving family, they will learn all of the arts and pleasures of having a home and person to adore.

Spay/neutered, all vaccines current, you pup can be microchipped for $10 if arranged prior to pick up.
Housetrained? Yes – if you have a fenced yard, she knows the rest. She uses a dog door but will learn to ask you to open the door. All dogs have to learn your schedule and how to communicate their needs to you. To be successful at housetraining: use a crate, go out with your dog and praise “right action”, and expect more of yourself than you do of your dog. Housetraining tips are in your adoption packet.
Adoption Fees and Payment Plans: We take credit cards and checks. Payments can be arranged with a credit card. As with all of our adoptions, we know it is hard to get married on a blind date... even to a wonderful pup. We will take our dog back during the first month and refund your adoption fee less $75. To hold a pup, we ask for a $50 non-refundable deposit if delivery is not made during the same week.
About the breed: The Maltese is a popular toy dog, ranking fairly high on the AKC popularity list. Mild mannered, affectionate, and loving, the Maltese makes a fine companion dog and a good family pet. These dogs are well suited to inexperienced dog owners as well as to the more experienced, and their intelligence, alertness, and high learning rate helps to make training easier. The Maltese has plenty of energy and spirit, and loves to play. He has an inquisitive and curious nature, and for a small dog can be quite confident when well socialized. These dogs tend to fare well in obedience training, and enjoy a variety of mental stimulation to keep them alert. This breed will be fine with apartment living, but needs regular leashed walks or a safe, securely fenced area to exercise and play. justdogbreeds.com
