Cooper's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cooper's Story...
Cooper is such a sweetie. He is charcoal and has a white patch under his chin. He is 5 1/2 years old and weighs 9 pounds. Cooper is a puppy mill survivor and is just beginning to know how good life can really be. He is timid and will need a family that can be patient with him as he learns to trust. Those big brown eyes are so full of happiness now. Cooper would do best in a home with another small dog. He doesn't mind the cats in his foster home either. He will need to be taken out on a leash or have a secure fenced yard. Cooper has been neutered, brought up to date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He has also had a dental cleaning. Cooper walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. If you would like to give Cooper the forever home he deserves, please click here to fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Westport Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in Westport, or seeking a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
