Why Choose me?
Magic has a note on his gate stating that he knows how to get out of his kennel which explains why it is locked. If you’d like to take Magic out, you have to ask for assistance. I’m glad I did, not just for his pictures, but because Magic is fun. At first when we were in an interaction pen, he did the usual exploring. Magic didn’t mind having his explorations interrupted for attention and pets, but he wasn’t too interested in playing. Then suddenly, all of that changed. He had had his fill of sniffing and was ready to play ball! He’d race after the ball and even bring it back. Sometimes he’d drop it at my feet and other times I had to reach for it, but we had a good time. Magic and I became friends, and he gave me some gentle hugs. Right now, Magic has demodectic mange which is not contagious and can be treated. If you look beyond that, you can see what a good looking dog Magic is with his handsome brindle coat and spotted white socks. Come meet Magic today. You’ll have to ask to have his gate unlocked, but he’s worth the effort!

ACCAC is a high-kill county animal control. These postings are monitored solely by volunteers. For the most up to date information, please contact animal control directly. Any animal control officers can give you the most up to date information on any particular dog. General questions can be emailed but for specific animals, call animal control. Animal control is only required to hold an animal for seven days and then, if space is tight, the animal may be put to sleep if not adopted or rescued.
FOR THE DOG SHELTER: Wednesday is euthanasia day so please act by Tuesday if you're interested in a dog!

Sponsorships can be offered for specific animals. The sponsorships only go towards licensed rescue groups that pull that specific animal. Arrangements will be made directly between the individual that offers the sponsorship and the rescue that pulls the animal.
