Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Quincy needs a home with an experienced pet owner. During recent transfers and changes in his environment, his confusion has prompted him to snap first and think about it later. He is great with his foster mom (who is head bitch in the house). However, there is a possibility he would take advantage of a person who is less so. At any rate, even when he settles in and loves his new mom/dad, he might snap at strangers who rush at him. Quincy is a 4 year old Poodle weighing 15 pounds. The good news: he is neutered, vaccinated, crate trained, likes to ride in the car, is playful, happy and loving. The bad news: He is good with his foster mom and with his groomer because neither one will take any nonsense (both are strong females with years of dog experience) BUT he does not care for strangers. He will bark at strangers and if offered a hand from a stranger will probably try to bite. The best home for him will be with an experienced dog owner who lives alone and does not have many guests. Of course he can be crated when guests come over. This is not a situation where you can think "love will overcome" this problem. He is well loved now.
