ADOPTION PENDING
Loretta is a female Shih Tzu mix approximately 2 years of age. She has a short, round, compact little body that is super snuggly. Loretta has gorgeous coloring of gray and white with a little touch of tan mixed in. She has been professionally groomed and currently has a shorter haircut. Loretta is solid, weighing in at 16 pounds. She is a mellow, gentle young dog, excellent inside the home and a very easy keeper. She prefers a peaceful, serene environment without a lot of commotion. Loretta is always polite but she adores attention and would love to have a home where she is pampered and fussed over. She is a little princess at heart and will thrive where she can be cuddled, loved, and made to feel secure. Loretta walks nicely on leash and is good in public. She has wonderful manners when company comes over and is simply a joy to have in the home. Loretta gets along well with other dogs and is great with cats and children. She doesn't really play much, preferring to lounge around and be spoiled by her people. She is perky and her mannerisms are darling, and as she gets more comfortable in her new forever home she will likely blossom and possibly play with toys. Loretta has a nicely balanced personality and will make an outstanding choice for a pet and companion. She was brought in to a very high kill shelter by her owners who said they could no longer keep her for reasons unknown. She is a treasure and a real find for some lucky person or family. Loretta is ready for her new forever home today!

Loretta’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Loretta is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Carol and is ready for her forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Loretta at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2nd from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in COSTA MESA located at 1815 Newport Blvd., Costa Mesa, CA 92627. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LORETTA, a Newport Beach Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
