EDWARD's Story...
Hi -- my name is Edward. I am a kitten with lots of love to give! I was found outside and was so scared with no one to take care of me. The volunteers have given me so much love and attention-I am a great boy. i love to be held, play ball, and have the sweetest face. I am healthy and up to date on vaccines so far. I will need a few more vet follow ups and to be neutered when i get bigger. i am so happy to have a second chance to get a new beginning-would you want to be my new family? Won't you come and visit me at the Clifton Animal Shelter M-F 6.30-8pm or Sundays 12 noon - 4 pm? Hope to see you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

EDWARD, a Clifton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Clifton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Clifton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clifton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clifton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clifton paves the way for another one to be saved.
