Cindy's Story...
Cindy is one adorable little girl!! She is a little shy at first but when she gets to know you, she is the most loving little girl in the world. Cindy is about 6 months old and about 11 pounds right now. She will probably only be a couple more pounds when full grown. Even for someone, like me, who is not a small dog person, this little girl can grab your heart. She is wonderful with other dogs and would be best in a home with kids over 5 as their fast movements make her nervous. Meet this little gal and fall in love..........I did!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cindy, a Bellingham Basenji dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Basenji dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji breeders who help with Basenji rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
