Sebastian's Story...
INITIAL BIO 01/30/2013: MEET SEBASTIAN! He is a very active 2-1/2 y/o 8 lb Silky Terrier; he is being fostered in The Villages, FL. Sebastian was surrendered by his owners who were no longer able to care for him; they loved and spoiled him very much. He is a sweet little boy who is very curious about his surroundings. He is house-trained and crate-trained. He walks okay on a leash but needs some reminders of how he is supposed to behave while on leash. In Seb’s previous home, his best buddy was a kitty cat, although he gets along well with other dogs, also. Sebastian loves to cuddle and play with toys. He just arrived in UYR, so stay tuned for more info on Seb…………….

NOTE: Sebastian can only be placed in a home with children that are 12 y/o or older

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a The Villages Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in The Villages, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in The Villages.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in The Villages already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a The Villages breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in The Villages paves the way for another one to be saved.
