Sugar Daddy was rescued from a kill shelter.
Sugar Daddy lives up to his name - he is a gentle giant, sweet and calm. He will greet you by the door, investigate your shoppin bag, curl up next to you when you watch a movie and if it is boring - he will fall blissfully asleep. He will not chase madly across the room or knock things over, like cute little kittens do. Instead, he will keep you company, love you and cherish you as long as you live. Sugar Daddy likes other cats, adores children and people. He is a respectful, older gent who, if he were a human, would always end his sentence with "yes, Ma'am" or "Yes, Sir".
He is neutered, tested negative for FIV and FELV and up to date on vaccinations.
Please consider an adult pet. They have a long live ahead of them, a life of purrs and golden slumbers next to you on a sofa.
Rescue Group Info...
North Brooklyn Cats specializes in taking in orphaned "bottle-babies" from other rescues and from the streets of our neighborhood. These tiny kittens require round-the-clock care and often don't do well in a shelter environment. We have many years experience volunteering and working for shelters and rescue organizations in New York City.
We have special adoption events in the neighborhood and also work with other rescue groups, sharing resources whenever possible.
Cat and kitten adoptions require a $100.00 donation, which helps us cover the costs of delivering them already spayed/neutered, tested for feline AIDS and leukemia, current on vaccines, dewormed and treated for any health problems we were aware of. We generally require that kittens under five months of age be adopted in two's unless you already have another pet. Adoptions require an application that asks for two references and a contract. We deliver your new cat to your home, generally within a few days of getting your application. We are happy to help should you need advice or assistance with your new companion before or after the adoption.
The five boroughs of New York City. In special circumstances, we will consider good homes in surrounding areas.
