Sable's Story...
Sable is 1 yo and weighs 64 lbs (1/31/13) . She had a litter of puppies 9 wks ago-all in new homes. She was a great first time mom! She is now spayed and ready for her new home. Hope is very friendly, good w/other dogs and cats, good w/kids. She is curious, observant, and playful. Walks well on a leash until distracted-then pulls, so she does need some work on this. Indoors she is well behaved and calm. Would make a great therapy dog, hiking buddy, or tv companion!
All pets come w/up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and health certificate from veterinarian within 48-72 hrs of transport. Adults are also sterilized and heartworm tested prior to placement. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sable, a Sussex German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Sussex, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Sussex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sussex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sussex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sussex paves the way for another one to be saved.
